Who in Your Community Knows Mental Health First Aid?

Mental health challenges can begin early in life. In fact, 50% of all mental illnesses begin by age 14, and 75% by the mid-20s. Additionally, 1 in 5 teens and young adults lives with a mental health condition.
That means the adults who interact with young people every day have an important opportunity to recognize when something may be wrong and help connect them to support.
Jamaal E. Kizziee, LMFT, Founder of Keziah Tree Therapy, is offering Youth Mental Health First Aid Training to help adults recognize signs of mental health and substance use challenges, respond appropriately during a crisis, and connect young people with the right resources.
Who Could Benefit?
This training is valuable for:
Schools and educational programs
Churches and youth ministries
Coaches and sports organizations
Nonprofits and community organizations
Camps and youth programs
Parents, caregivers, and other adults who work with youth
Do You Know an Organization That Could Benefit?
This is where you can help.
If you know a school, church, nonprofit, sports program, community organization, or other group that works with young people, we'd love an introduction.
Simply connect us with the person responsible for training or professional development, and we'll take it from there. Email us at info@keziahtreetherapy.com.
Let's build communities where more adults are prepared to recognize, respond, and support the mental health of our youth.
